Conclusion

H0 is rejected as there is a significant positive relationship between a person’s average foot length and his/her average forearm length.

Our results show that there is a positive relationship between the length of a person’s foot and forearm. The range of the difference between forearm and the foot is from 0.15 - 6.4 cm, with an average of 3.9cm.

Therefore, even though there is a positive relationship, we are not able to use the length of our forearm as an accurate estimate to purchase footwear and can only be used as a guide.
